"Door to the Forest" was taken at the Abbey of Mont St. Michel in May 2012

by Samuel H Glassner, MD. This magnificent Gothicstyle Benedictine

monastery stands on a small island in Normandy about 1 kilometer

from the north coast of France and is now a UNESCO

World Heritage Site. The photo was taken with a Panasonic Lumix

DMC ZS19 and has not been retouched.

Dr Glassner is an Emergency Physician at Kaiser

Walnut Creek in Walnut Creek, CA. His interests

include history, travel and photography.

He resides in Alameda, CA with his wife.
