"Fourteener" is a view of Summit Lake from the peak of Mount Evans in Colorado.

Mount Evans is the fourteenth tallest mountain in Colorado at 14,271 ft. The road to

the peak is the highest paved road in North America. The photo is a 7-shot high-dynamic

range image to capture the deep textures in the rock and the subtle colors in the sky.

Dr McDowell is a Plastic Surgeon at the Denver Medical Office. He has been an amateur

photographer since college and prefers landscape, street, and travel photography.
